Welcome to Porto!

I am very proud to release this scenery of LPPR to you after long hours of development.

Porto Airport is located in the north of Portugal. It is the second most busy airport in the country after Lisbon (LPPT).

This scenery includes:
  • Realistic buildings such as ATC Tower and Cargo terminal.
  • All available stands with VDGS or Marshaller (using Autogate plugin).
  • New taxiway E included with E5 and G holding points.
  • The real ground markings are included.
  • 3D and 2D objects (OpenSceneryX required).

 

You only need:

- Autogate plugin. This will make all jetways and parking systems work with your aircraft. Download here

- OpenSceneryX. A free library of 3D scenery objects. Download here: OpenSceneryX

 Installation:

1- Drag and drop "LPPR_Porto" into this folder: X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery

2- Inside the same Custom Scenery folder, find the "scenery_packs.ini" and open it.

3- On top of the first "SCENERY_PACK" lines paste this: SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/LPPR_Porto/

4- Open X-Plane and enjoy! 

Remarks:

If you would like to report a bug, please leave a comment below. I will check it.

This scenery was made for XP11 but it works with XP12.

If a new update is released, do not replace with the new files, delete the old version and drop the new one.

Amazing free airport. I am having some issues. I am having two jet ways on the same gate. Probably my fault.

Hi, some gates have two jetways as in real life. Could you please confirm the number of the stand?

Jetway not connecting? Marshall not working?

Jetways, VDGS parking and marshallers only work if you install the Autogate plugin.

For a jetway to connect you must be on the correct parking position with a valid aircraft. After choosing the stand on the X-Plane menu and starting the flight, you will be on the correct parking position and the jetway will connect in a few seconds.

If your jetway is connecting on spawn but not connecting when you arrive at the gate, please check:

Always turning OFF the engines after parking with the parking brake set.

Stand with VDGS: Parked at the STOP position with the OK confirmation shown on display.

Stand with Marshaller: Parked with the marshalling signal of wands crossed above head. 

Complying with all of the instructions indicated above will connect your jetway.

ID FAIL ERROR

If you see "ID FAIL" on VDGS: Autogate plugin is not detecting your aircraft type.

"The plugin needs to know the type of aircraft that the user is piloting and the location of its main boarding door. The plugin reads this information from the “ICAO code” and “boarding door location” values in the ACF file of the aircraft that the user is piloting. These values can be edited on the Standard → Viewpoint screen in Plane-Maker. If the ACF file does not have this information correctly recorded then the DGS will display “ID FAIL” and the jetway will remain in the retracted position."
