ToLiss A3XX Skalarki ACP Volume Control

This add-on provides volume control for the ToLiss A320 using a Skalarki Hardware Audio Control Panel (ACP). It reads the live positions of each ACP rotary and allows users to control the Windows volume for various applications, such as xPilot and Discord, per channel. Key features include a live volume display, automatic DataRef detection, and configurable settings to suit different hardware configurations. Note that a Skalarki ACP is required for proper functionality.

Description

# ACP Volume Control for ToLiss A320 (X-Plane 12) - Skalarki Hardware ACP Required

Turn your hardware Audio Control Panel into real, working volume

controls for your PC - built and tested with a **Skalarki** ACP.

Maybe it´s working with other hardware ACP panels too, but not tested

## What it does

This plugin reads the live position of each ACP rotary (VHF1, VHF2,

VHF3, HF1, HF2, INT, CAB) on your hardware ACP - via the ToLiss A320's

`AirbusFBW/ACPxRotaryPositions` DataRefs - and uses it to control the

Windows volume of any application you choose, per channel.

A typical setup:

- **VHF1** -> xPilot

- **VHF2** -> X-Plane 12 itself

- **VHF3** -> Discord (including two simultaneous instances, e.g. main +

  PTB)

You're not limited to that - assign any of the 7 channels to any running

application, or even multiple applications at once.

## Important: Skalarki Hardware ACP required

This plugin is built for users with a **physical Skalarki Hardware

ACP**. The ToLiss A319/A320/A321 cockpit does not include its own

mouse-wheel manipulator for the volume DataRefs - VHF1/VHF2 only

respond to the mouse in very coarse steps, and VHF3/HF1/HF2/INT/CAB

don't respond to the mouse at all. This is a ToLiss limitation, not

something this plugin can change. With a hardware ACP connected and

driving the DataRefs, all channels work smoothly and reliably.

## Key features

- Live volume display for every ACP channel in the plugin's status

  window, with a visual progress bar per channel for an at-a-glance

  overview, not just numbers.

- DataRefs are found automatically once the ToLiss A320 is loaded - no

  manual "re-search" needed, even if the aircraft was already loaded

  when X-Plane started.

- A simple dropdown lists every currently running application with

  audio, so you don't need to remember exact process names.

- Optional quadratic volume curve for a more natural-feeling volume

  taper.

- Configurable update interval and raw value range, in case your

  hardware ACP uses different scaling.

- Free and open for everyone to use.

## Requirements

- X-Plane 12

- ToLiss A320 (A319/A320/A321)

- XPPython3 (free)

- A Skalarki hardware ACP, with the JPP plugin (including its

  `Toliss-ACP-A319_A320_A321.lua` script) installed and running - see

  the installation guide for details

## Installation

Just run the installer and follow the wizard - it finds your X-Plane 12

folder automatically and copies everything into place, including the

one-time aircraft folder fix required by XPPython3. No manual copying

needed. The only thing you have to install yourself is the JPP plugin

with its matching Lua scripts, since that's what connects your Skalarki

hardware ACP to X-Plane in the first place (see Requirements above and

the installation guide).
