HKIS - Isiolo International Airport

Description

Isiolo International Airport (HKIS) is a small airport in Isiolo county, Kenya. The airport is located at latitude 0.33820 and longitude 37.59170. The airport has one runway: 15/33. The ICAO airport code of this field is HKIS. The airport is in the Nairobi FIR.

This scnery is designed and tested on XPlane 11.55. It has enhanced lighting, parking bays, taxiways and tax lights. Also lighted Apron and a better runway.

This is my first scenery to upload here since X-Plane Scenery Gateway requires XP12.

Test it guys and give comments where possible.

Istallation: Just download, unzip and put it into your installation directory, e.g. ...\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery.

Minor modification on the road joining/exiting the airport. Road modified to fit the environment and remote nature where the airfield is located.

Thanks to Teshd for this. There is a lack of scenery for Africa in general in Xplane 12 so it is great to see some more scenery for Kenya. This one loads fine into Xplane12 but the airport access roads are a little strange with multi lane highways not connecting and disappearing into tunnels where the local road network is mostly smaller roads. Not sure if this is an artifact of XP12 as I have not compared this scenery in XP11. Not a huge deal and just a visual thing as it does not affect the functionality of the runway.
